Microsoft is jacking up the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and not really delivering anything new of value. Meanwhile, the previously tested family plan still doesn't exist.

$30 a month for Ultimate — I don’t think Game Pass is worth it anymore

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has jumped to $30 a month, and for the first time, the subscription doesn’t feel worth it to me. While Microsoft has added perks like Fortnite Crew, Ubisoft+ Classics, and improved cloud streaming, these extras don’t align with what I actually value.

Xbox Game Pass is getting a ton of new games today via Ubisoft+, as well as new Fortnite benefits. Ultimate subscribers will have to swallow a 50% price increase to get it, though.
